Turn screen on with gestures

Save the wear and tear on your power button by using gestures to turn the screen on. You can turn the screen on by using the proximity sensor or by lifting the device up. When your phone is in your pocket, uncovering the proximity sensor will automatically turn on the screen. Waving over the sensor is a convenient option when your hands are dirty. You can also set a tilt angle that turns the screen on when you lift the phone up (tilt to wake).

Keep screen on automatically

Choose from various methods to automatically keep the display on when you're using your device. The motion method detects small movements when you're just holding the phone. Waving over the proximity sensor is another way to keep your screen on and can also extend the timeout. The tilt angle method allows the display to stay on when propped up, even if you're not holding it. You can also choose to have the display stay on while using certain apps, while charging, or during a call (the display still turns off when you put the phone to your ear).

Time screen out quickly to save battery

You can choose the screen timeout duration when no keep-on functions are actively keeping the screen on. If the screen is not being kept on, it will time out quickly to save battery power. The screen can turn off even faster when the proximity sensor is covered (e.g., when in-pocket or face down) or when the device is pointed down. Additionally, you can set a separate timeout for the lock screen. KinScreen will not turn off the screen when other apps are actively keeping it on, unless you have selected to manually turn off the screen.

Resource Use

KinScreen is designed to be highly efficient and battery-friendly. It uses minimal CPU and memory, and sensor usage is highly optimized. However, some functions may consume more battery power than others. For example, the turn-on-by-tilt-angle feature requires more battery power as it needs to keep the device awake in order to function.

Premium Version

All functions in KinScreen can be customized according to your preferences. However, in the free version, customization of numerical parameters is not available. To unlock all customization options and support future development, consider upgrading to the premium version.
